The Southern Provincial Ministry of Agriculture organized the Local Food and Food Technology Industry Exhibition 2025 under the theme “From Local Harvest to Innovation.”
This grand exhibition will be held on October 24 and 25, 2025, from 8.30 a.m. to 8.00 p.m. at the Galle Town Hall Premises.
The exhibition will feature:
- Demonstrations on food processing and preservation
- Display and sale of locally produced food items
- Introduction of modern food processing equipment and technology
- Awareness programs on food safety and nutrition
- Agricultural product displays and small-scale industry stalls
- Mushroom cultivation, packaging, and labeling demonstrations
- Educational sessions on value addition in local food products
The event aims to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in the local food and food technology sectors, empowering small and medium-scale producers across the Southern Province.
