As the third program in the ongoing series of technical training programs conducted to educate entrepreneurs engaged in the food production industry, the Southern Provincial Ministry of Agriculture, through its Food Supply and Distribution Division, organized a two-day residential training program on Food Product Packaging and Labeling.
The program was held on July 8 and 9, 2025, at the Cathrich Memorial Food Processing Training Center, Embilipitiya, with the participation of entrepreneurs representing the Galle, Matara, and Hambantota districts.
This initiative aimed to enhance the knowledge and practical skills of food producers in modern packaging and labeling techniques, thereby improving product quality, market readiness, and competitiveness within the local food industry.
