To uplift the standard of living southern provincial community through eco friendly agriculture, well managed irrigation system, well developed cooperative sector along with proper water supply & drainage system, standard food supply process and high quality trade sector by amalgamation of national policy making, providing necessary facilities and better regulation of above schemes.
Objectives
- Managing and developing the whole human reaources in the ministry of the optimum efficiency and effectiveness.
- Supervision and supervision of all the activities of the three departments of the Ministry.
- Enhancing the productivity of crops, productive food security and empowerment of the farmers in the Southern Province through effective agricultural extension services
